I got diagnosed with bone cancer last year. It's shocking to hear as a 22-year old that not only you have cancer, but you will have a prosthetic in your leg for the rest of your life as well.
The cancer ate up the bone in my leg, so it had to be replaced. I think that this is the hardest part for me. Having to live with a prosthetic, and not being able to move as I used to. The cancer may have broken my bone, but it hasn't broken my spirit.
I enjoy every single day that I have, I enjoy the food, being with my family and friends, and just living life to the fullest.
And I'll tell you something, being bald isn't that bad. It's quite fun and a really unique experience to go through. And as an artist, it's actually quite liberating.
So being the baldie that I am, I am going to face this adventure with an open mind, and a hopeful heart and things will work out just fine.
